Description
Understanding and use of key mathematical concepts to solve problems. Focus on mathematical logic; properties of two- and three-dimensional geometric figures; similarity and congruence; motion geometry; common and metric measurement; statistical methods to describe, analyze, and use data; and probability applied in everyday life. Focus on using materials, activities, and strategies appropriate to teaching school mathematics are used. Prerequisite: MTH 2330.
