The Madonna University student email account is used to communicate with instructors and various University service departments. Information regarding Registration, Financial Aid, Student Accounts and Student Life is sent to you through your student email account. You are responsible for checking it regularly. Your email user name and password is provided in the same letter you received that contained your ID number and PIN.  If you cannot log into your account, please email or chat at to reset your password.

What options are available with my student email account?

Office 365 gives you:
·   Access to a cloud-based email account with 25 GB of storage.
     - Your own personal contacts folder and the Madonna University contacts folder.
·   A sharable calendar.
·   An Office OneDrive that can be used to:
     - Store documents  (1 TB of Storage) and access them from anywhere on any browser.
     - Share documents with other Office 365 users.
     - Create Word, Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote files using free apps available on your OneDrive.

How do I activate and set up my student email account?

If this is the first time you're logging into your Madonna University email account, follow these steps.

  1. Open the Madonna University Portal Page
  2. Select student email from the Quick Links drop down list.
  3. Enter your Madonna University student email address and password sent to you through the mail; then click the Sign in button.
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen to setup your email account. 

How do I forward my official email?

  1.  Log into your student email account. 
  2.  Click the "gear" icon located in the upper right corner.
  3. Choose "View all Outlook settings" from the drop down menu.
  4. Choose "Mail" from the panel on the left.
  5. Choose “Forwarding” from the next panel.
  6. Enter the email address to forward the mail to and check the box for “Enable forwarding”.
  7. Recommendation: Check the option for "Keep a copy of forwarded messages".
  8. Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page

Note:  Users who forward their email do so at their own risk.   Forwarding email does not absolve users from their responsibilities associated with communications sent to their official email address, such as billing and student accounts information.  Madonna University does not offer support for messages lost due to forwarding email.

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your Student email password:

  1. Navigate to
  2. Click "Can't access your account?
  3. Follow the prompts on the screen to reset your password.
