- You will be prompted to reset your password
- Enter your mobile phone number to associate with the account. This is to support multi-factor authentication. (MFA)
Returning students:
Login to your account: https://www.office.com/
- If you do not know your password, select, “Can’t access your account?” or “forgot password” and follow the prompts to create a new password.
- Direct link to set a new password: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

- You do not have a phone number associated with your account.
- You no longer have access to the number that was previously associated with your account.
- You attempt a password reset and receive this message, “Your account is currently blocked from signing in. As a result, you may not reset your password at this time. Please contact an admin in your organization and ask him or her to unblock your account.”
Your email will generate a ticket for the helpdesk staff, they will reach out to you directly to restore access to your account. Include your phone number, student ID number and MU email address, if possible.
